Erin Maxwell

Erin has been scribbling about pop culture for the better part of two decades, with stints at Variety, The Daily Mail, LA Weekly, and The Village Voice. She has covered everything from comic books and awards shows to animation, horror, and, of course, TV. Her small screen favorites run the gamut: classics like The Wire, sci-fi staples like Severance and Black Mirror, horror essentials like Hannibal, American Horror Story, and Interview with the Vampire, comic-book dramas like Daredevil: Born Again and The Penguin, lush period pieces like The Gilded Age and Shogun, Canadian chaos like Shoresy, and for reasons even she cannot explain, Lifetime’s VC Andrews’ Universe (the VCU). She also likes snacks.
