Harmontown (available for streaming now, Netflix)

There probably isn’t much more to say about Dan Harmon, the genius behind Community and/or the ruiner of the TV Auteur Theory, depending on whom you ask. But when Harmon was fired from the show he created after Season 3, he took his weekly live podcast on tour (“I woke up this morning and I realized I have nothing to do, so we’re going to go on tour,” he says in this film), and documentarian Neil Berkeley followed him around.

Harmontown provides about as in-depth a look at the man as you can get, even taking into consideration the incredibly personal live podcasts Harmon has done for years. The film premiered at SXSW last year, but now’s your chance to watch it for free (well, $8.99 a month, technically).
