Carra Patterson is an American actress and producer, known for her versatile performances across film, television, and theater.

On screen, Patterson portrayed Tomica Woods in the 2015 biographical drama "Straight Outta Compton." She also appeared as Shaun in the E! drama series "The Arrangement" from 2017 to 2018. In 2021, she starred as Jessica Baxter in the Disney+ series "Turner & Hooch." More recently, in 2023, Patterson took on the role of civil rights leader Coretta Scott King in the biographical film "Rustin," directed by George C. Wolfe. She also appears opposite Carrie Preston in the CBS comedy-drama series "Elsbeth."

She made her Broadway debut in 2012, starring alongside Cynthia Nixon in the Manhattan Theatre Club's production of "Wit." Her stage career further flourished with her role as Rena in the 2017 Tony Award-winning Broadway premiere of August Wilson's "Jitney."
