Stephanie Sloane

Stephanie knew she was destined to write about soaps when, as a grade schooler, she scheduled her orthodontic appointment around Luke and Laura's wedding on General Hospital. A native of New York City who grew up with a TV in her bedroom, she landed at Soap Opera Digest after college, where she remained for over 30 years before joining TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine in 2024. When she's not keeping the family trees of the Quartermaines, Hortons, Duprees, Forresters, and Newmans straight, she will likely be watching any of the Bravo franchises, Jeopardy!, The Great British Baking Show, Criminal Minds repeats or some version of Dexter.
