‘Bachelor’ Couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. & Lauren Burnham Have ‘Fled the Country’
If you can’t take the heat, leave the country! Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his new fiancée, Lauren Burnham, have officially “fled” the United States.
The new couple—who have dealt with their share of backlash after the Bachelor Season 22 finale last week—have now given fans a peek at their recent, romantic vacation in Iceland, where they appeared to be all smiles.
From taking in the waterfalls to hiking to cappuccinos in bed, these two appear to be having a great time together as they explore Reykjavik and beyond. And the break from TV cameras is most warranted as their engagement was one of the most controversial in franchise history.

On March 11, Arie and Lauren showed off their love at the season-opening race of the IndyCar season in St. Petersburg, Florida. The former pro race car driver cuddled with his bride-to-be in matching red racing suits as they celebrated with track legend Mario Andretti and took selfies near the high-performance cars.
When Arie and Lauren return to the States, she’ll be moving to his hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona and a walk down the aisle could be right around the corner. Arie told TV Insider previously they may be considering “doing a TV wedding” and it could be this year.
But first, Lauren has to get settled. “I’m planning on teaming up with Arie and doing real estate,” she said.
