‘FBI: Most Wanted’: Are You Still Watching With All the Cast Changes? (POLL)
Three seasons into FBI: Most Wanted, and there have already been quite a few cast changes.
The surprising announcement that Julian McMahon, who leads the Fugitive Task Force as Supervisory Special Agent Jess LaCroix, is leaving the show comes after the CBS drama lost two other series regulars in the past year. And while turnover happens — both on TV shows and law enforcement teams — we can’t help but take note. So, we’re wondering, are you still watching? Read on for a recap of the recent changes and then vote in our poll below.
The Exits
Nathaniel Arcand’s Special Agent Clinton Skye was written out via a special assignment during Season 2, in the third episode. It wasn’t until between seasons that Arcand revealed he would not be returning.
During the three-show crossover to kick off FBI: International at the beginning of the 2021-2022 season, Kellan Lutz‘s Special Agent Kenny Crosby was shot and had a long recovery ahead of him. Following the episodes, Lutz shared that he was leaving the show following heartbreaking losses.
McMahon’s last episode is slated to air on March 8, and as the actor revealed, he’s leaving “in favor of additional creative pursuits and the transition of my character Jess LaCroix.” It has yet to be revealed just how Jess will be written out.
The New Agents
While FBI: Most Wanted lost Clinton in Season 2, it gained Miguel Gomez‘s Special Agent Ivan Ortiz. He transferred over from the counterterrorism unit in D.C., and his transition has been seamless enough that he’s now Special Agent Hana Gibson’s (Keisha Castle-Hughes) new roommate.
The three-show crossover also introduced Alexa Davalos‘ Special Agent Kristin Gaines, from Miami. She ended up joining the task force following Crosby’s move back home.
We’re not going to meet Dylan McDermott‘s character, for whom details are not yet available, until April. However, we do know that he’s going to be taking over as the new lead and he’s playing a new character (so, no, Law & Order: Organized Crime‘s Richard Wheatley won’t be entering into witness protection with quite the new identity).

Only watching until Jess/Julian leaves. I can't do Dillon. He's just played too many AH characters for me. I have no respect for him. And I really do wonder, WHY all the cast changes on this show? Why have so many really good characters/actors left this particular Dick Wolf show?

Jesse and his family life are part of what makes the show. Not sure I will be watching after he is gone. Will watch an episode or two to see. I don’t care for the newest female agent. Her demeanor and the way she talks just bother me.

I like Jess but really liked his family storyline. When they wrote out his brother in law I didn’t like it. Then they started showing less and less of his in laws and now his daughter is gone. I’m done. Way too many changes too fast. I like DM. But I really like him on O. Crime. Hate to see him leave the show. Have to wait and see his story line and if he leaves before he even starts with the FBI history.

Will def miss Julian but Dylan will be good in this role. But can’t stand the new female agent they brought in. I cringe when she talks. She doesn’t fit. We’ll see

Heck yes I will still be watching! Dylan McDermott is my favorite. Find a place for Kyle Chandler in the Dick Wolfe world and I will be in heaven!!

I feel the same. Of the 8 original characters ,the team and Tali and her grandparents, now only Hana and Barnes are left. I don't think I'm the only person that gets attached to the characters on a tv show. If I don't feel that attchment, I lose Interest in the show

Why did they hire Alexa Davalos. She is so boring and seems disconnected to the show. I don't think Jesse should be written off.

Done w the series. It seemed he lost interest this ep the actor playing Jess. Can't get invested in the show when characters keep quitting 3 seasons and 3 quit and the one girl gone and back now. I can't even get their names straight. Sucks because it strted of so good and loved his family Tali. And why bring Mcdermott when he is already in L&A OC to switch so soon.couldnt they find someone new not a big character already in the franchise. Something odd w the most wanted one bad bosses for them to all quit constantly 🙄

No to Dylan McDermott, use someone they already have. The show will need someone who really cares about each of them.

I can’t believe Jess is gone it made my heart ache his character was so awesome and I loved his relationship with his daughter she loss her mother now you told her dad ! Jess imade the show ! One talented actor he will be missed the show will not be the same !

I will still be watching, but I want to know why Barnes or Gaines won't be the new lead of the team, rather than bringing in a new lead. Hana is good, but still too young to be team leader. I haven't seen McDermott in much, so don't know if I will like his character.

I'm done. With Jess out of the show, and other cast changes, I won't continue to watch it. I tried to enjoy it, but I don't care for Dylan McDermott and I don't like his character on this show either. Good Bye, FBI Most Wanted!

Really angry after they killed off julian , definitely will never watch this show again. And just when i was actually starting to really like the show. the producers really botched that show. And i never cared for McDermott. So this show will be cut soon enough once the ratings drop after killing julian.

He was the draw for me. I love his character, i hope he marries the gf and moves to where Tallis' school is, as opposed to killing him off. Dylan is wonderful, and I'm sure he will bring it, i will continue to watch bc i like the writing.

You have killed a very good show when you killed off Jess. The formula was working well. Jess did a very dangerous job, but there was a human side to him, he was believable and he was vulnerable.

Still watching but not as enthusiastic about it. Alexa Davolas ruins the dynamics of cast. Doesn’t fit in. Her speech is low and muffled and can’t always understand what she says. She needs to be replaced with someone who has more energy.

I really do not like the replacement cast for Julian. I have not liked his character in other shows and will have a VERY hard time warming up to him.
You have really missed the heart and reason to watch your tv show.

Julian McMahon and is family WAS the entire show. It won’t be the same or hold my attention not appreciation. Sadly it was my very favorite out of the three FBI shows. I can really understand Julian moving on in his career, but he is the one that made the show and my mom and loved him. Dylan McDermott is an extremely talented actor but really, who could really unseen him as the terrifying bad guy mobster in Law and order. Who could after watching it. He was a really good horrible bad guy that I could love to hate. REALLY COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED CBS what a let down.

They changed the whole format of 'Most Wanted' and it sucks!!! Can't stand DM, he's just too smug. Couldn't stand him on OC either, but watched the show because of Stabler. FBI Most Wanted has lost another viewer. Just isn't the same without Jess!!!!!

Dylan McDermott is the perfect replacement, so I'm excited. I liked Julian McMahon in the role, but I think they picked the right person to lead the series in his absence.
