‘Tracker’ Season 2 Finale Photos: Wendy Crewson Returns as Colter’s Mother

Will Colter (Justin Hartley) get any answers from his mother in the Tracker Season 2 finale, airing on Sunday, May 11? Wendy Crewson returns as Mary Dove Shaw, and as the photos reveal, he goes to see her.

Colter returns to Echo Ridge — the finale’s title — to investigate a diner owner’s disappearance, only to uncover a decades-old kidnapping and a shocking family secret.

“Things used to be simpler here,” Colter’s mother says in the trailer, which you can watch above. “Sounds like you and I remember this place a little differently,” he replies. Later, he says, “Spent most of my life trying to figure out what happened that night, when my father went over the cliff.” Who is he aiming a gun at while looking emotional? Will he get answers about his father’s death?

It was in the penultimate episode of Season 2 that Colter met up with his sister, Dory (Melissa Roxburgh), who gave him the box of their father’s stuff. In it, found hidden in a notebook, was a phone number; it had been disconnected, Colter learned, upon calling it. Dory hadn’t told their mother about the box but said he could; will Colter do just that in the finale? Will his mom know whose phone number that was? When the siblings parted ways — he left to help Reenie (Fiona Rene) when her client’s assistant went missing — Dory offered Colter some advice: “Just do not obsess over this, don’t pick up where dad left off, you know how that ends.”
