‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Trailer: Nate and Cassie’s Wedding, Rue’s Drug Deals & 6 More Key Reveals (PHOTOS)
Euphoria‘s third season is almost here, after nearly four years off air, and the newly-released trailer is offering a closer look at what the cast of characters, including Rue (Zendaya), have been up to since we last saw them.
Set a few years into the future, as previously teased by showrunner Sam Levinson, Rue and her cohorts are no longer high schoolers as they face even bigger challenges in adulthood, as evidenced by the jarring trailer, which offers glimpses at a wedding, drug rings, and faithful journeys. Rue is still in deep with drugs
Not only does it appear that Rue is going to have to face the consequences of stealing a suitcase full of drugs belonging to Laurie (Martha Kelly), but she’ll also get swept up in the enterprise. It seems that the young woman, who has continually struggled with sobriety, will dabble in the drug industry as she seems to become a hot commodity between Laurie and another mysterious dealer.
Rue finds religion
After Sydney Sweeney previously teased that Season 3 would be religious, the trailer reveals Rue sitting in the pews of a church, admitting that she has begun to experience and feel faith in her life. Whether that will help save her from some of the dicey predicaments she’s falling into or not will remain to be seen.
Cassie's making money online
While we can’t exactly presume that Cassie (Sweeney) is partaking in OnlyFans, it seems that she is creating content for a platform similar to it. Dressed in a risque dog costume, Cassie is seen wiggling her butt and dancing for the camera outside and indoors. The visual is juxtaposed by the sudden entry of her cohabitant…
Nate is working in construction
It seems that Nate (Jacob Elordi) is following in his dad’s footsteps as he tackles construction and building lots from a position of authority. While we can’t exactly see Cal (Eric Dane) up close, it seems that he’ll be working alongside his son as you can see Nate walking alongside a figure resembling Cal.
Nate and Cassie get married
This isn’t exactly a reveal, since it was previously teased by Levinson, but fans are getting their first glimpse at Nate and Cassie’s wedding, which seems like the perfect event to stir up some chaos. Will all go according to plan, or will their big day fall apart? We’re more than ready to find out.
Rue and Lexi are still pals
Friends since their earliest days of childhood, Lexi and Rue reconnect and prove the enduring nature of their bond in the trailer. A brief snippet sees them sitting atop washing machines at an apparent laundromat, giving the girls a moment to gab. It’s nice to see that despite the years since fans last saw the show, this one thing certainly hasn’t changed.
Jules is rich
Out of everyone that pops up in the trailer, it seems that Jules (Hunter Schafer) is living her best life, inhabiting a sleek and luxurious apartment that clearly costs a pretty penny. As previously teased, it seems that Jules is hitting it big with her art, allowing her to rise to the ranks she’s always been worthy of.
Is someone gonna die?
Between a bloodied Nate and Rue’s gun-toting, we’re on the edge of our seats as these glimpses offer a small taste of what Season 3 surely has in store. After what happened in Season 2’s finale with Fezco (the late Angus Cloud) and Ashtray (Javon Walton), it feels as if anything is possible.
