With a sly reference here and a cameo there, this creepy anthology has often alluded to a past Story.

But Season 8 fully embraces the shared universe with an end-times tale combining Season 1, Murder House, and No. 3, Coven, and bringing back Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson and more.

These episodes will help shed light on the Apocalypse.

“Pilot” (Murder House, Episode 1) The franchise’s first peek into madness finds troubled mom Vivien Harmon (Britton) dealing with faithless hubby Ben (McDermott), racist neighbor Constance (Lange) and a historic L.A. home haunted by its former tenants. All of them.

“Afterbirth” (Murder House, Episode 12) The season ends with a three-year time jump. And Constance, now raising Vivien’s child, comes home to find the toddler is a literal lady killer.

“Go to Hell” (Coven, Episode 12) The penultimate hour positions Cordelia Foxx (Paulson), headmistress of a New Orleans school for witches, to replace her dying mother, Fiona (Lange), as their coven’s Supreme.
