‘At Home With Amy Sedaris’ Puts a Twist on Holiday Specials (Video)

It’s beginning to look a lot like we’ve got a new seasonal favorite in the form of the At Home with Amy Sedaris Holiday Special. And it’s just what we wanted, Santa!

On Tuesday’s AHWAS, the off-kilter crafting fan dons her gay apparel and decks the hall in her own inimitable style for a celebration of holiday home projects and recipes. Kicking off with a snowman ditty weirder than any middle-school Christmas pageant, the entire episode is a holiday hoot, from the nutcracker-meets-The Trilogy of Terror homage that derails Amy’s big party plans to her musical salute to glue with guest Jane Krakowski.

Of course, At Home fans already know that this is the show where subversive comedy happily shares shelf space with wonky how-to segments, but for new viewers, we have this look at the opening number so you can get a better idea of what Sedaris has in store.
