Rumer Willis’ Tory Ash Set to Rock ‘Empire’: ‘She’ll Cause Sparks’

She’s ready to rock your world. Empire is back and Dancing With the Stars champ Rumer Willis begins a multi-episode arc as Tory Ash, a self-destructive musician who meets fellow druggie Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett, above, with Willis) in rehab. “Tory is volatile, smart, impulsive and an incredibly brilliant rock star,” Willis says. “She really connects with Jamal and begins working with him on his new album. She’ll also cause sparks with his parents, Cookie [Taraji P. Henson] and Lucious [Terrence Howard].” And those won’t be the only parental sparks to fly on the drama. Willis’s real-life mom, Demi Moore, will appear in the season finale as a tough-as-nails nurse with a shady past—a role that will have her treacherously entangled with the Lyon family when the show returns in the fall.
