Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas are celebrating a major milestone nearly one year after their HGTV series, Bargain Block, came to an end.

Bynum and Thomas met through an online dating service in 2013 and have been engaged since 2018. Three years later, the couple became HGTV stars with the premiere of their flagship series, Bargain Block. The show followed the duo as they gave new life to rundown homes across the city of Detroit, Michigan.

In a Thursday, July 23, Instagram post, Bynum celebrated him and Thomas being off-screen partners for over a decade. “Another wonderful year together. Now a total of 13 lucky years!” Bynum captioned his anniversary tribute. “And everyday I continue to love you more.”

He added, “I can’t wait to see what this new year holds. I love you very much @emuralit #luckyinlove #anniversary #happy.” Bynum’s post featured several sweet photos of himself and Thomas over the years.

Fans flooded the post’s comments with congratulatory messages. “13 years!! That seems impossible, where did all those years go?! lol. Love you guys and happy anniversary!!” one user gushed. Another added, “Congratulation on your 13 year anniversary. Cheers to many more years of loving memories created together.”

Someone else shared, “Happy anniversary! May you have many more happy years together!” A different person posted, “Happy Anniversary to you both! You look fantastic.” A separate commenter stated, “You guys are so cute together.”

In addition to wishing the couple a happy anniversary, many fans expressed their continued disappointment over HGTV’s cancellation of Bargain Block. “Please come back to HGTV or another channel. I love watching you. HGTV had gone to hell these days. Used to hr my favorite now never watch it. And Congratulations on your 13 years!” one person stated. Another said, “I miss you guys!! HGTV is not the same without you! Your show was so real and your kindness was so appreciated, you made a difference!!”

Somebody else wrote, “Sure miss your great show! I keep hope you will find a path back to a series!!” Another comment read, “Miss you both so much on HGTV! Congratulations. Love is love!!” A different person said, “Happy Anniversary and many more! Miss your show toooo!”

Back in June 2025, Bynum announced that HGTV pulled the plug on Bargain Block despite originally renewing the series for a fifth season. Bargain Block was one of several home renovation shows canceled by the network last year, including Married to Real Estate, Izzy Does It, Farmhouse Fixer, Christina on the Coast, and The Flipping El Moussas. The remainder of Bargain Block‘s Season 4 episodes began airing that August, and the series concluded its run in September 2025.

Since the show’s end, Bynum and Thomas have continued their home renovation work through their company, NINE Design + Homes. The couple has also teased that they are working on a new TV project, posting several behind-the-scenes photos from filming on social media.
