‘Supernatural’: Will Rowena Turn Into a Glamorous Granny When She Meets Grandson Gavin? (VIDEO)

It’s an extra-twisted family affair this week on Supernatural when Rowena (Ruth Connell) finally meets her grandson, Gavin (Theo Devaney). “We’ll see if she’s ready to be a glamorous granny or not,” Connell laughs.

In “Family Feud,” when Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover their new investigation is tied to The Star, the ship Gavin should have been on, the brothers call in Rowena to help locate him. But the Rowena-Gavin relationship won’t be the only thing explored. “We get more of the Crowley-Rowena relationship,” Connell teases. “For a character that is as old as Rowena and has been through as much as she has, it’s great when the writers surprise you and have you do something or say something and you go, oh really, she does that? It adds another aspect. There is something in this episode that is huge in the Rowena context; it’s a wow moment, shall we say. I look forward to reading tweets!”
