‘The View’s Sara Haines Pays Visit to Alyssa Farah Griffin & Newborn Baby

Alyssa Farah Griffin got a special visit from one of her The View colleagues amid her ongoing maternity leave.

In a Monday, March 30, Instagram post, Sara Haines revealed that she recently met Alyssa and her husband Justin Griffin’s newborn son, Justin Patrick Griffin, Jr. “My girl and her new little boy 💙,” Haines captioned the upload.

The post featured a sweet photo of Haines hugging Alyssa while holding her son. In the post’s comments, Alyssa lovingly wrote, “Justy Jr. already loves his Aunt Sara!” Alyssa’s mother, Judy Farah, told Haines in a comment of her own, “Thank you for being such a good friend 💖.”

Fans also gushed over the pair’s friendship in the comments section. “OMG you girls are the cutest!! Congratulations Alyssa!!❤️🎉😍,” one user wrote. Another added, “Motherhood looks perfect on Alysa, love the picture of the three of you❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦.”

Someone else shared, “What a beautiful photo of you three :). Congrats to Alyssa. Happy Monday to you guys. ❤️.” A different person posted, “This makes me smile!!! Thank you. You women look great! Justin Jr., welcome to the world!! And, you have a nice back of your head!!🤣👶🏻.”

Alyssa began her maternity leave from The View after going into labor early before the show’s February 10 episode. Alyssa had appeared on the ABC morning show the day prior. “I don’t know if you saw the show yesterday, but it turned out Alyssa was right about Bad Bunny‘s halftime show putting her into labor,” Whoopi Goldberg joked. “It put her into labor.”

Goldberg began the following day’s episode by announcing that Alyssa had given birth. “First thing we want to do is start by congratulating Alyssa and her husband Justin, on the birth of their baby boy,” she shared with viewers. “He weighed in at seven pounds and 19 and a half inches, both mom and baby are doing well. I’m sure they’re tired.”

The View fans have followed Alyssa’s pregnancy journey, as she announced she was expecting on the show back in October 2025. “Baby Boy Griffin arrives this February. I’m so glad to not have to hide it anymore. I can breathe,” she said at the time. “I’m so overjoyed. And I shared with all of you. I went through IVF. It was hard. It took us about a year. Took us five rounds, but he’s here. He’s coming. I’m so grateful to have the most supportive husband in the world.”

Before her maternity leave, The View hosts threw Alyssa a baby shower live on the show. “They say it takes a village. And just knowing I have such a wonderful village at this table, this amazing husband, and my family and friends, I mean, that was so much,” Alyssa tearfully told her fellow co-hosts.
