Last Surviving Cast Member of ‘Hogan’s Heroes’ Dies at 89

It is the end of a TV era, as the last surviving main cast member of the series Hogan’s Heroes has now died. Kenneth Washington, who played Sergeant Baker on the series, passed on July 18, 2025, at the age of 89. No cause of death has been given, but it was confirmed that he passed away at his home in Beverly Hills, California.

Not only did Washington play Baker in Hogan’s Heroes; he also appeared in shows such as Star Trek, I Dream of Jeannie, Petticoat Junction, My Three Sons, Dragnet, Adam-12, Marcus Welby M.D., The Rockford Files, Police Story and many others.
