Overpromising can lead to trouble, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case on Wednesday’s episode of The Goldbergs.
In “Oates and Oates,” Barry (Troy Gentile) tries to woo Ren (Kelli Berglund) by overpromising that he can get Hall & Oates to perform while throwing a telethon at their college to raise money for Earth Day. And based on TV Insider’s exclusive photos of John Oates’ guest spot (above and below), he may be able to deliver.
Elsewhere in the episode, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) tries to set Bill (David Koechner) up, but things go awry when he finds happiness with a woman he meets — through her enemy.
