‘The Amazing Race’ Cast Revealed: ‘Big Brother’ Alums & Their Companions (PHOTOS)

Big Brother fan-favorites are coming to The Amazing Race Season 38. CBS unveiled the cast, along with their travel companions, on Thursday, August 14, after teasing the cast with mysterious headshots a la Big Brother. Get a glimpse of the cast, which includes 14 former Houseguests (three of them former winners), in the teaser trailer above.

The Amazing Race Season 38 cast includes one pair with two Big Brother alums, and it’s a power couple of the franchise. Taylor Hale and Kyland Young, who are dating in real life, will compete in The Amazing Race. Kyland competed on Big Brother Season 23, and Taylor won Season 24. With the exception of Season 12 and 18, most of the players in this cast competed in the 20s seasons of Big Brother.

The Amazing Race Season 38 premieres on a special night, Thursday, September 25, at 9/8c on CBS. It will have its regular time period premiere on Wednesday, October 1, at 9:30/8:30c after Survivor. The October 1 episode will not be a repeat of the premiere; it will be Season 38 Episode 2.

The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan invites some of Big Brother‘s fiercest competitors to exit the house and race in the real world when 13 fan-favorite houseguests embark on a European adventure with their travel companion, on the 38th season of the Emmy-winning CBS Original series. And after having its biggest cast ever in Season 37, the reality competition show is delivering another series first in Season 38 outside of its Big Brother cast.

The Houseguests-turned-Racers kick off the season in Amsterdam where they face classic game pieces and unexpected twists right off the bat. For the first time in The Amazing Race history, teams face their first challenge before even lining up on the starting line — the first team to complete the task receives an express pass and the last team to complete the task faces the consequences of a Hazard. Along the route, teams will reach new heights in Prague, bathe like a king in Budapest, and skydive nearly 13,000 feet over Romania.

The Amazing Race can be seen on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). Paramount+ subscribers will have access to stream live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live, but will have access to on-demand the day after the episode airs.
