Ted Lasso is almost back with a second season at Apple TV+ but until fans can rejoin AFC Richmond, the newest trailer is offering some revealing peeks at what’s to come.

Whether it’s Ted’s (Jason Sudeikis) dark side or Rebecca’s (Hannah Waddingham) more carefree attitude, there’s something for everyone to look forward to. Below, we’re rounding up some of the key reveals made in the final Season 2 trailer ahead of the July 23 premiere.

AFC Richmond on a Draw Streak

It would seem that after last season’s disappointing loss against Manchester City, AFC Richmond is on a streak of draws. While they’re not losses, they aren’t wins either. Is the team’s mojo gone? Ted doesn’t seem so concerned as he tells reporters, “I’ve never been embarrassed about having streaks in my draws. You know, it’s all part of growing up.” Based on the trailer, it does seem like this will play a major role in the team’s Season 2 story.

Meet Led Tasso

You won’t like him when he’s angry. Apparently, the team’s draw streak is sending Ted over the edge into an alter ego known as Led Tasso. “I think it’s time for these young fellas to meet that guy,” Ted announces to Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt). “Oh no, not Led Tasso,” Coach Beard responds. What happens next is a jarring personality switch as Ted transforms into a table-flipping coach.

Rebecca Tries to Cheer Up Ted?

Last season, so much of Ted’s energy went towards winning over his boss Rebecca, now it appears she’s trying to brighten his spirits with a trick he used on her before. Standing outside what appears to be Ted’s apartment, Rebecca’s written “Hi Ted” in garland. Is she trying to cheer him up and if so, why does he need cheering up? We’re dying to know.

It's the Holiday Season

The characters are getting in the holiday spirit this season as Ted, Rebecca, and more appear to enjoy some holiday-inspired activities and don some familiar Christmas gear. Considering how happy Ted is on a regular basis, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the joy dialed up even more considering the holidays.

Roy and Keeley Are Still Going Strong

In a very brief clip, Roy (Brett Goldstein) and Keeley (Juno Temple) are shown being swept up in a passionate kiss. This should reassure fans of the couple that their romance is still going strong in Season 2. The big question is though, what is Roy up to? He doesn’t appear in any of the soccer scenes from the teaser, and it seemed as though he was on the brink of retirement by Season 1’s end.

Don't Stop Believing

In Season 1, Ted introduced AFC Richmond to the concept of “Believe,” hanging a sign over his office door. It seems as though that term will continue to have a strong presence entering Season 2 and Ted even taps the sign in reassurance during the trailer.
