Sex and the City‘s HBO Max spinoff And Just Like That…  is adding another familiar face to its cast: John Corbett, who has teased his return to the fashionable franchise.

The Rebel actor played Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) fiancé and ex-fiancé Aidan Shaw in the hit series, appearing in more than 20 episodes over the course of 2000 to 2003. He previously reprised his role in the film Sex and the City 2, where his character ran into Carrie abroad in Abu Dhabi.

According to Page Six, Corbett confirmed his involvement in the project, saying, “I’m going to do the show” and that it’s “very exciting.”

Ordered for 10 episodes, the limited series is a revival that will focus on Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte’s (Kristin Davis) lives as Kim Cattrall‘s Samantha Jones won’t be part of the show. As for how many episodes Corbett will appear in, he teased, “I think I might be in quite a few.”

His involvement has us wondering which other characters might drop by the series. Below, we round up a few stars that we’d like to see.

And Just Like That…, TBA, HBO Max

Mr. Big

What would Sex and the City‘s world be without Chris Noth‘s Mr. Big? We’d rather not know. Despite initial reports from Page Six that he wouldn’t appear, there’s been some hope in the comments section of Noth’s Instagram page, teasing that he could pop up at some point in the show’s run. It would only make sense that Carrie’s husband would in some way be part of the show, so we’ll keep our fingers and toes crossed.

David Eigenberg as Steve Brady in Sex and the City

Steve Brady

David Eigenberg played Miranda’s partner Steve Brady in the original series and in the two films following Sex and the City‘s HBO run, so it makes sense that he’d make an appearance, right? When Us Weekly asked him about the revival, Eigenberg said, “I really love that show,” and that “I think it’s really interesting that they’ve brought it back.” So, maybe?

Harry Goldenblatt

It would be hard to picture Charlotte’s involvement in the revival without the presence of her husband Harry (played by Evan Handler). While there’s been no confirmation about his participation in the project, we can’t help but hold out hope. At least, we don’t think Charlotte could handle being single.

Candice Bergen in Sex and the City: The Movie

Enid Frik

Candice Bergen‘s role as Carrie’s Editor at Vogue had minimal screen-time in the TV series, we’d love to see her bossing around Carrie again.

Sex And The City The Movie - Mario Cantone, Willie Garson

Mario Cantone & Willie Garson

The last time fans saw Cantone’s Anthony Marantino and Garson’s Stanford Blatch, the pair tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony that featured Liza Minelli. As honorary members of the girl group at the center of this series, it would be disappointing if they didn’t make an appearance.

Sex And The City - Jennifer Hudson as Louise

Louise

Hired as Carrie’s assistant in Sex and the City: The Movie, Jennifer Hudson’s character Louise was every bit as charming as you could hope for. It’s a long shot, but we’d love to see Carrie reconnect with her equally as fashion-obsessed former colleague.
