Get to Know the ‘Married at First Sight’ Season 13 Cast (PHOTOS)
Fresh off the heels of Lifetime’s most successful season of Married at First Sight to date, the series is setting its sights on another group of couples to marry in Season 13.
The latest chapter introduces 10 new Texan singles taking the leap at the altar. Together, they’ll embark on the great social experiment of marrying a stranger at first sight.
Season 13 also welcomes the series’ first Asian-American couple who celebrate their marriage with a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony.
What else fans can expect from these Texas pairs? Horseback riding, skeet shooting, home cooking, and barbecue. Plus, one husband gets wrapped up in a situation that no one will see coming. Get to know more about the cast below.

Rachel & Jose
At 33, Rachel has a newfound confidence when it comes to relationships despite her recent breakup and her own parents’ divorce. She’s hoping confidence will help her moving forward with this process. Jose, on the other hand, is a 35-year-old Pearlander who grew up in a middle-class family. Despite their struggles, his parents always made sure he was taken care of. When it comes to dating, he hasn’t found anyone serious who is willing to take the next step.
Bao & Johnny
The daughter of Vietnamese refugee parents, 35-year-old Bao was born and raised in the Lone Star State. Initially, Boa never intended to get married but has had a change of heart in her 30s. Meanwhile, 35-year-old Johnny was born in Houston where he and his sister were raised by their hardworking single mother. After his parents’ divorce, Johnny has been very particular in his search for a partner, without any luck.
Myrla & Gil
Myrla is a 34-year-old Texas native and leadership coach who sees the value in working with experts to find her perfect match. Thirty-five-year-old Gil is originally from Colombia and searching for the American dream including a wife, kids, pets, and a picket fence. Will his hopeless romantic ways win over Myrla?
Michaela & Zack
Houston-born Michaela is 30 and a successful realtor who often sells homes to newlyweds, and she’s hoping to find that for herself. She’ll be marrying 27-year-old Baton Rouge native Zack who moved to Houston in hopes of finding a wife. The bachelor, who had hoped to be married by 25, feels the clock is ticking so he opted for the unconventional Married at First Sight path.
Brett & Ryan
Despite being born in New Jersey, 33-year-old Brett considers Houston, Texas her hometown and is trusting the process as a hopeful romantic. As for Ryan, he’s 35 and has grown up in Texas where his grandparents and extended family have always been within walking distance. The main motivation for marrying is his desire to be a young and active father.
