NBC Orders Supernatural Drama ‘Midnight, Texas’ From ‘True Blood’ Author

Vampires and witches are ready to scare up some drama at NBC.
The Peacock has ordered supernatural thriller Midnight, Texas to series. Based on the book series by True Blood author Charlaine Harris, Midnight, Texas is about a remote town in the Lone Star state that serves as a safe haven for those that are “different,” including vampires, witches, psychics and hit men. The members of the town come together to fight off nosy cops and violent biker gangs.
Midnight, Texas stars François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Sarah Ramos, Peter Mensah, Yul Vazquez and Sean Bridgers.
Midnight, Texas is written and executive produced by Monica Owusu-Breen, with David Janollari and director Niels Arden Oplev also executive producing.
