The Real Housewives of New York City Season 10 trailer was released on Thursday, and it looks like the new installment might one of—if not the most—dramatic seasons thus far in Housewives history when it begins April 4. Forget all the petty drama that the Bravo series has built its empire on.
These issues are no joke.
In the short preview, the main focus is Luann de Lesseps' messy storyline. She made headlines when she announced her divorce from Tom D'Agostino after their brief marriage, then again in December, when she was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida. Shortly after, she entered into a rehab program.
"I've been traveling, I've been to prison, and I just want to be close to home," she tells someone over the phone.
The cast was filming in South America when they went on 'the boat ride from hell.'
The rest of the trailer teases a rift between besties Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill; Dorinda Medley admitting she drinks too much; and Jill Zarin picking up the pieces of her life after longtime husband, Bobby, sadly dies.
And, we can't forget the recent disastrous yacht trip in Colombia. That footage is sure to be mind-blowing, as the women were reportedly scared for their safety.
"The Real Housewives of New York cast was recently on a boat in South America and encountered turbulent water. Thankfully, everyone is fine and was able to continue their vacation as planned," a Bravo spokesperson said in a statement. "The safety of our cast and crew is paramount and, to that end, we are doing a full investigation."
