‘Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance’: See Who Lifetime Cast as the Royal Couple

Lifetime is giving one of the most well-known, real-life modern love stories the Royal treatment.
The network announced on Monday the actors who have been cast in the lead roles of its upcoming special movie feature, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.

Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser will play Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for Lifetime
Parisa Fitz-Henley (Marvel’s Jessica Jones) will play Suits actress Meghan Markle, and Murray Fraser (The Loch) will portray her fiancé, Meghan Markle Prince Harry. The TV movie will chronicle “the courtship and love story between a beloved prince and his new fiancée,” Lifetime revealed in a press release.
It will also “examine the history of Prince Harry (Fraser) and Meghan Markle (Fitz-Henley) from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress.”
The film was written by Scarlett Lacey and Terrence Coli, and Menhaj Huda will direct. It will film in Los Angeles and Vancouver, with a debut date on Lifetime Spring 2018, right in time for the royal wedding.
