Saturday Night Live UK‘s cold open featured President Donald Trump proposing a job swap with U.K. Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

On the Saturday, October 17 episode of SNL UK, James Austin Johnson took advantage of a Saturday Night Live two-week hiatus in the U.S. to appear as Trump on the United Kingdom’s version of the sketch comedy series. He joined George Fouracres as Burnham and Freddie Meredith as Zelensky for the cold open.

The sketch began with Burnham reaffirming the U.K.’s support of Ukraine during a meeting with Zelensky. While the pair discussed a need for the restoration of Starlink in Ukraine, Trump suddenly walked in.

“You say my name and I appear,” Trump declared. “I got the idea from my very close friend Beetlejuice. The late, great Beetlejuice. It’s one of the two ways I am like him. The other is that he’s a sex pest… alleged; they can’t prove he did that stuff.”

After telling Zelensky that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin were “just talking about” him — “not in a nice way, very bad” — Trump revealed, “I’m here because, surprise! We’re doing job swap!”

The POTUS, 80, explained, “Yeah, I take over the U.K., you take over America. I tell ya, that place is a real mess. You’re gonna hate it. It’s an awful, awful job. “It’s a terrible place full of disgusting people. I don’t know what the hell happened.”

To that, Burnham pointed out, “I can’t swap jobs with you now, cocker. I barely even started. People don’t even hate me yet.”

Trump insisted, “Come on, this country’s gone to the dogs, and I alone can fix it,” bringing up the small boats crisis, the Manchester City soccer controversy, and the tiger mauling to death of a man.

Additionally, the U.S. president addressed the “bad situation” that is British comedy.

“SNL UK, you’re telling me you don’t have a guy, the whole cast, you don’t have one guy who can play Trump? What an awful situation. Some of these people went to RADA [Royal Academy of Dramatic Art]. Freddie, RADA? What is that, the royal academy of dogs*** actors. Ohh, you can say s*** on this one? Very weird. I feel really weird.”

Ultimately, Burnham declined to job-swap with Trump — despite the POTUS begging him because he is “about to totally eat s***” in the midterms. Trump then proposed a job swap with Zelensky.

“Trust me, you don’t want my job. It’s terrible,” the Ukrainian president replied. “So much of it involves spending time with you.”

Trump accepted defeat in the attempted job swap. But before leaving, he promised Zelensky, “Let me know if you need anything — anything at all, provided it’s not help with war.”

To that, Burnham said, “Sorry Zelensky, me old mucker, but as dire as things may be, what matters most is that we all be nice to this insane man.”

Trump then proclaimed, “Yeah, this guy gets it because…” as Zelensky and Burnham joined, “Live from London, it’s Saturday Night!”

SNL in the U.S. will return on Saturday, October 31.
