Pat Sajak just issued a bold political statement that divided Wheel of Fortune fans.
On Saturday, October 17, the former game show host took to X with a message that immediately caught fans’ attention.
“I’ve never publicly endorsed a political candidate nor commented on a ballot measure,” Sajak, 79, pointed out, before declaring, “But enough is enough. I’m voting ‘NO.’ Please join me.”
Although the statement seemed to take a definitive stance, Sajak didn’t specify the issue — which was the entire point. The TV personality has long avoided publicly sharing his political stances.
In the comments, fans were split with their reactions. Some were amused and played along, while others called out Sajak for not taking a stand one way or another. One X user joked, “Can I buy a ‘No’ for?”
Another echoed, “You have to buy the ‘o.’
Someone else quipped, “Enough is too much.”
A different follower pointed out, “You gave away the best gig ever so you could say ambiguous nonsense like this?”
Meanwhile, yet another X user commented, “Don’t feel afraid to tell you believe. You’re not [in] the limelight anymore. Just a private citizen.”

This isn’t the first time Sajak has cheekily commented on politics without revealing anything about his political beliefs. On Election Day in 2024, he posted a similar update on X, writing, “I have never endorsed a presidential candidate,” per Newsweek. “However, I am breaking with that tradition this year. I will make my announcement this coming Friday at noon.”
Sajak’s message also came on the heels of Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings bashing millionaire tax breaks in a political ad.
After announcing his retirement in June 2023, Sajak hosted Wheel of Fortune for the final time in an episode that aired in June 2024. Ryan Seacrest has since taken over hosting the game show alongside Vanna White.
