Get ready to hear even more random outbursts of “Mr. Worldwide!” because Pitbull is headed to Empire.

The rapper and Latin icon will tackle the difficult role of playing himself on an episode of the hit show’s second season. He’ll perform the song “No Doubt About It” alongside crooner Jamal (Jussie Smollett). Though known for his singles like “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho),” “On the Floor” with Jennifer Lopez and “Timber” with Kesha, Pitbull already has at least one acting credit under his belt—a voice role in the animated movie Epic.

Pitbull joins a string of high-profile names who will be appearing on Empire this upcoming season, including Marisa Tomei as a lesbian billionaire and Chris Rock as someone from Lucious Lyon’s past who’s a fellow jailbird. Kelly Rowland’s also joining the show to play Lucious’ mom in flashbacks, Adam Rodriguez will romance Cookie as a new love interest, and Ludacris will play a cop. Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz will also guest star in as-yet unconfirmed roles.

Empire returns September 23.
