Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts I and II (Monday, June 1, 7/6c, ABC Family)

The actual anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts is May 2, but we won’t hold it against ABC Family for not airing this Deathly Hallows marathon then. Instead, we will revel in the 4+ hours of beautiful, emotional filmmaking—the exhilarating Gringott’s escape, Hermione and Harry’s bonding scene in the tent in the woods (not that way), the explanation of Snape’s non-treachery, and that one scene in the Forbidden Forrest with Harry and his loved ones that is an excellent litmus test as to whether you’re watching with a sociopath. (Hint: If they don’t cry, they are one.)
