What’s Worth Watching: Scorpion’s Cabe finally comes clean

Scorpion, “Cliffhanger” (Monday, April 13, 9/8c, CBS)

It’s a secret that Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick) has been carrying around all season, and its exposure in tonight’s episode of Scorpion threatens to tear the team apart. After the federal agent discovered young Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gabel), he recruited the genius to work on top-secret government missions. Walter designed software for delivering humanitarian aid, but the defense department instead utilized that program to drop bombs on innocent Iraqi civilians. The fallout between Cabe and Walter was severe, and the two men only reunited at the beginning of this season to form Team Scorpion. But on tonight’s episode, a dangerous hacker is threatening to release classified emails that give details of the Baghdad mission and prove that Cabe had knowledge of the attack days before it was executed. Cabe decides to tell Walter his secret, which starts a chain reaction of events that could destroy the future of the team and sets up a harrowing cliffhanger leading into next week’s season finale.
