Live From Lincoln Center: Norm Lewis—Who Am I? (Friday, April 10, 9/8c, PBS, check local listings)

Scandal watchers will recognize Norm Lewis as Senate Majority Leader Edison Davis, the fiancé Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) ditched to have “devastating, life-changing, extraordinary love” with the President (Tony Goldwyn). Well, if only Olivia had heard Edison warble a tune: Broadway mainstay Lewis has a devastating, life-changing, extraordinary singing voice, at least. The Tony-nominated (for Porgy and Bess) baritone shows off his talents on tonight’s Live From Lincoln Center with a set list that includes a little soul (Stevie Wonder’s “Knocks Me Off My Feet”), a little gospel (“Lift Every Voice and Sing”), and a lot of Broadway, with selections from Les Misérables, Company, and more. What’s the President got now, Olivia?
