‘Full Frontal’: Samantha Bee Does Not Trust Ivanka Trump (VIDEO)
Gather round, ye children, as Samantha Bee sings the ballad of Ivanka Trump, the willowy blonde beacon of tastefully beige carpeted capitalist “feminism” and heir to the new American kleptocracy to whom we are all supposed to turn in these uncertain times.
Will the supposedly progressive-minded First Lady Daughter be able to save us all from climate change—and unchecked racism and sexism and homophobia and xenophobia and conspiracy-mongering and general misinformation—in her new volunteer role in the White House? Bee is skeptical, as she pointed out on Wednesday’s Full Frontal.
“She’s not gonna convince her dad climate change isn’t a Chinese hoax! Anyone with a dad knows that they have invincible old man opinion strength.”
According to Bee, all those sweet souls who are leaving “Dear Ivanka” letters at husband Jared Kushner’s buildings are just grasping at straws. The truth is, beneath Ivanka’s diamond hard veneer of upscale concern for working white ladies lurks an unquestioning Trump loyalist with a history of sinisterly self-serving business deals and her disingenuous working-mom schtick.
As Bee points out, if you wanted a progressive feminist in the White House, you should have voted for the one who actually ran for president.
