The Food Network cooking show was canceled last year after 40 seasons and more than a decade on air. The series — hosted by Mauro, Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee Biegel, Geoffrey Zakarian, and Alex Guarnaschelli — had the cast share delicious new recipes, show off entertaining tips and tricks, and answer fan questions. The Kitchen aired its final episode in December 2025.
During a March episode of Biegel’s All on the Table podcast, Mauro revealed that the cast reunited to film a “special episode of The Kitchen,” adding, “It’ll be on the air.”
Mauro shared a big update about the reunion episode via Instagram on October 17. “Big, big news hitting the airwaves as of today. Ladies and gentlemen, that’s right,” he stated. “You may have heard the rumor. The beloved The Kitchen, which went away last year, is coming back for one more episode.”
The episode will air on Saturday, October 31, at 11/10c. (According to Food Network’s website, two episodes of The Kitchen will air on Friday at 10/9c and 11/10c.)
