Which Food Network Shows Are Returning in 2026? Everything We Know
Food Network‘s 2026 lineup is full of old favorites, including two of its spookiest series.
The network kick-started its 2026 programming with the return of shows such as Worst Cooks in America and Wildcard Kitchen. January also saw the premiere of the brand-new competition series Baking Championship: Next Gen. Hosted by Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown, the series featured 12 sibling duos competing for a $25,000 cash prize.
Guy Fieri debuted his latest cooking competition series, Flavortown Food Fight, in March, while Goldman followed up Baking Championship: Next Gen with The Ultimate Baking Championship later that month. Shortly after, Chopped quietly returned for its 64th season.
A new season of the Bobby Flay‘s BBQ Brawl returned for a new season in May, shaking things up with a new lineup of judges and team captains. Tyler Florence, meanwhile, will hit the road once more for a new season of The Great Food Truck Race. In August, Food Network teased its fall programming by announcing the return of two Halloween-themed competitions.

Worst Cooks in America — Season 30
The show returned for its first season without the late Anne Burrell on January 4. Jeff Mauro and Tiffany Derry stepped in to host this season’s competition, which pitted celebrities against each other in a culinary boot camp. Shahs of Sunset star Reza Farahan was crowned as the season’s winner.
Wildcard Kitchen — Season 3
Eric Adjepong returned to host another season of the Food Network series, which premiered on January 6. A mix of skill and luck, the show follows three chefs as they must base their culinary creations on the cards they are dealt.
Tournament of Champions — Season 7
The show’s seventh season kicked off with The Qualifiers round on February 15, followed by The Bracket Reveal on February 22. The season’s competition officially commenced on March 1. Bryan Voltaggio beat out the competition and was named the Season 7 winner.
Chopped — Season 64
Hosted by Ted Allen, Chopped returned for a brand-new season on March 17.
Be My Guest with Ina Garten — Season 7
Ina Garten was joined in the kitchen by a new lineup of celebrity guests on the latest season of her series, which returned on April 11. The season’s star-studded lineup included Allison Janney, Jon Batiste, Hoda Kotb, and Michael Barbaro.
24 in 24: Last Chef Standing — Season 3
Hosted by Michael Symon and Esther Choi, a new batch of chefs faced off in a 24-hour culinary battle on the latest season of 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing, which premiered on April 26. Lee Anne Wong was crowned as the winner of Season 3.
BBQ Brawl — Season 7
The cooking competition series returned with new episodes starting on May 11. Joining Flay and Maneet Chauhan as a team captain this season was Brooke Williamson, who previously served as a judge on Seasons 2 through 6.
The nine-episode season saw Carson Kressley, Adrienne Cheatham, and Rashad Jones judge the show’s latest group of 12 pitmasters.
The Great Food Truck Race — Season 19
Season 19 of the series — which returned on July 26 — is a “battle of savory and sweet,” per the season’s description.
“Every week, the teams must prove their cooking expertise, marketing savvy and selling skills in themed challenges to beat their rivals – and for the first time, the bottom two teams each week will go head to head in a taste redemption battle to see who earns the right to stay and who heads home,” the description continues. “The season will culminate in an action-packed finale from the legendary Churchill Downs in Louisville, where only one truck will be awarded a life-changing $50,000 grand prize.”
Bobby's Triple Threat — Season 5
One of Flay’s most recent Food Network shows will return for its fifth outing on Tuesday, August 25, at 8/7c.
Halloween Wars — Season 16
Jonathan Bennett returns to host the new season of Halloween Wars, alongside judges Shinmin Li and Andrew Fuller. The season premieres with a two-hour episode on Sunday, September 13, at 9/8c.
The new episodes will feature “returning all-star pumpkin carvers, cake artists and sugar masters hoping to defend their titles, while others will be on the hunt for redemption,” per the official description. The winning team will earn a $30,000 cash prize.
Halloween Baking Championship — Season 12
Like Halloween Wars, Halloween Baking Championship will return with a special two-hour episode on Monday, September 14, at 9/8c. John Henson returns to host the spooky series, which will feature judges Stephanie Boswell, Aarti Sequeira, and Zac Young.
“For the first Haunted Heat of the season, the bakers must put their best spooky memories to work to create desserts honoring their ‘Best Halloween Ever,'” the season premiere’s description states. “The winner receives $1,000 and the top three bakers are safe while the remaining competitors face a ‘Bake for Your Life’ challenge to create ‘Hideous Mask Desserts’ inspired by the disfigured mask collection in the Hall of Humanity. The least successful baker will be eliminated.”

I miss the more fun seasonal baking shows. The camaraderie and relaxed atmosphere was much more enjoyable to watch than the more serious competition shows. I'm not a fan of the serious competition shows that come across as sporting events with the audience cheering and screaming.

I love the baking shows-Spring, Summer, Halloween. You shouldn’t get rid of shows that people actually enjoy

All competition shows except the Ina Garten show, which I enjoy.
Don’t enjoy competition shows so that is why I rarely watch Foodnetwork any more.

People once cared about HGTV but we know there was an escape from the original formula and people tuned out since no one at HGTV was listening; The same could happen with Food Network since there are more complaints now then compliments.

The competition shows are why we watch Food Network. We really enjoy seeing people think on their feet and create really special dishes!

I stopped watching Food Network awhile back when everything became a competition. I'll check out Ina but that's about it. A shame, really. I liked when they just cooked and taught me something.

I think they should just change their name to Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay channel..so sick of both of them and their shows!! Guy makes a complete fool of his son on the shows..the son will never make it as a host..keep him in the wine company..out of sight!!

Exactly, that's what I love about the competitions. I like the creativity they show with having to create dishes from random ingredients. I've learned a lot about the versatility of ingredients seeing them use ingredients in a variety of ways. I do wish there was more variety in the people competing, but that's not uncommon in food competitions period. You often see the same people competing and winning, even when it's not for a TV network.
I was always a fan of Food Network, grew up watching it, but as more people started posting recipe videos online I stopped watching as often. It was just often easier and more convenient to watch the videos online whenever I needed or wanted to. I doubt I was the only one.
I returned to more regular watching of Food Network when they started with the competion shows. Iy was just a more interesting way of seeing people cook. I imagine that is probably why they started investing in the production of those shows because they saw higher viewing numbers on the competition shows. At the end of the day, they are a business. If shows about food competitions drive profits morethan the traditional shows, they are gonna go with what makes them money.

Less Holloween, 1 is plenty ,the baking one. Mote holiday baking shows, also with kids baking championships. I miss the cookie holiday show, since the holidays is more cookies than pie & cakes. Guys new shows are horrible. The only good ones is his tournament of champions, & guys grocery show. I love the new show helping restaurants with Antonia . She is a natural down to earth star who gives such great help to failing restaurants. Wildcard, good show as well as triple threat. Since people are worried about what is happening with the wether, power grid, outages, don’t you think a prep-per show is what people would like. Making meals from pantry staples, how to cook , when there is no power. Older adults , baby boomers would love this since they have done this kind of stuff, but younger generations would not survive unless they were taught these things. I’m guessing 75% are clueless.

Please say it isn't so! The Kitchen has been canceled!!!. It was the best show on so many levels. All of the chefs actually cooked and many of the recipes were very easy to re-produce. In addition, so often the viewers were given such helpful hints and tips. The banter and genuine respect for each other was great to hear. I always thought that this show should have been scheduled for "prime time". Now, it's gone. Well, so am I.

I stopped watching the food network too because it became a competition. I liked it when they shows like unwrapped
