Nancy Guthrie Cops Reportedly Discovered Surprising Detail Inside Her Home
What To Know
- A source close to the investigation reported that Nancy Guthrie’s home was “immaculate” and showed no signs of assault after her disappearance.
- Despite the spotless interior, blood was discovered outside the property and the doorbell camera was removed.
- Investigators have not yet determined how the suspect(s) entered or exited the home.
A source close to the Nancy Guthrie investigation has reportedly claimed the home of the missing 84-year-old was in “immaculate” condition and showed “no signs of an assault” following her disappearance.
NewsNation correspondent Brian Entin shared the latest report, detailing how a local law enforcement source described the property as spotless, suggesting there were no telltale signs of an abduction inside the home.
Nancy, the mother of Today‘s Savannah Guthrie, has been missing since January 31, when police believe she was abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona. Since then, investigators have released doorbell camera footage of a masked suspect and shared a description of the potential abductor. No suspects have been named.
“This new information sort of makes sense with the big picture of what we know,” Entin said, per Realtor.com. “A source very close to the investigation now [confirms] to us that there were no signs of an assault inside Nancy Guthrie’s home, that most of the rooms were described as ‘immaculate,’ so the house was very, very clean.”
Entin noted how this matched the details Savannah shared in her recent sit-down interview with Hoda Kotb on the Today show. During the emotional segment, Savannah revealed that there were no immediate indications as to what happened to her mother inside the house itself.
“[It] makes sense when you go back to what Savannah said, which is that when her sister and brother-in-law showed up, they weren’t sure what happened,” Entin stated. “She had basically just vanished at one point. They had even thought that maybe an ambulance had taken her away. That’s because there was, according to this source, nothing in the house that appeared out of the ordinary.”
While the interior of the house was spotless, blood was found outside the front of the property, and the doorbell camera had been pulled from its frame. Savannah also revealed in her Today interview that the back doors to the home were “propped open,” leading her and her family to believe Nancy could have suffered “some kind of medical episode in the night.”
Entin touched on Savannah’s revelation that the back doors were “propped open,” reiterating that investigators have not yet determined whether the suspect(s) entered or exited through the front or rear of Nancy’s home.

The gun in the suspect of the Nancy Guthrie case actually looks like a 3-D gun. It doesn’t look like a normal gun. It could be fake, but it really looks like something that was done on a 3-D printer..

Mr.rightaway, just because it’s not what you think may or may not be true doesn’t make his comment brain dead. I’m not saying that Savannah may have been involved, I don’t know I wasn’t there, however what I am saying is you shouldn’t judge someone’s opinion or thought just because it’s not the same as yours. Not everything is always as it seems. For all you know Savannah could have been faking the loving relationship for the moment she went missing so nobody would ever suspect her. None of us know like I said we wasn’t there, life is too short for such hostile negativity, if you don’t agree cool but maybe a little more of a respectful reply would have been a better response or maybe even no response would have been better.

I find it interesting that porch guy raises his hand and looks like he is going to knock, then he sees the camera. Why would he be knocking? To let someone know he was there? To arose Nancy out of bed? Seems a bit "off" to me. If she was not expecting anyone, she likely would not have even opened the door - plus there was the security screen door also, so essentially 2 doors to go thru. No damage inside, doors propped open, cameras out, no sign of forced entry. Could she have wanted to leave? I thought the taking an uber was strange too, since she had a car and lived close to her daughter.

I think porch guy was clever to use the Stem of that plant, as a tool to put in the slot, that releases the Nest Camera. He was wearing Cold Storage warehouse clot

Rick, Savannah was always featuring her mom on 'The Today Show'. She's definitely a momma's girl. You need to do at least a minimum of research before posting your brain dead suspicions.
