GLAAD, the LGBT media advocacy organization, announced the nominees for its 27th annual Media Awards on Wednesday morning. According to GLAAD, the awards "recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives."

Included are Emmy favorites like Transparent and Orange Is the New Black, as well as less recognized shows like Pivot's Please Like Me and MTV's Faking It.
