American actor Jacob Bertrand was born on March 6, 2000 in California. Starting work as a child actor, he was cast in a small speaking role in "Mitch Albom's for One More Day" (2007). Keeping busy, he voiced Gil in "Bubble Guppies" (Nickelodeon, 2011- ) for two seasons. He continued with guest roles on several television shows including "Parks and Recreation" (NBC, 2009-15) and "The Legend of Korra" (Nickelodeon, 2012-14). In 2014 he debuted as the title character in "Kirby Buckets" (Disney XD, 2014-17). He portrayed Hawk in "Cobra Kai" (YouTube Red/Netflix, 2018- ) starting as a recurring character in season one and becoming a lead character by season 2. In 2021 he joined Cobra Kai castmate Xolo Maridueña co-hosting the podcast "Lone Lobos".
