‘Survivor 50′ Trailer & ’49’ Players Revealed: Billie Eilish & More Stars to Appear (VIDEO)
[Warning: The following contains MAJOR spoilers for the Survivor Season 49 finale.]
The Survivor 50 trailer is here, and with it comes the confirmation of the two players from Season 49 who are coming back in 50. The trailer is full of surprise celebrity appearances as well, including Zac Brown and MrBeast on-camera and mentions of Billie Eilish and Jimmy Fallon. See the Survivor 50 trailer above.
“Welcome to Survivor 50,” host Jeff Probst says in the trailer. “We chose you to represent 25 years of the greatest adventure on television. It’s a big honor, and the only thing we want in exchange for giving you this spot is everything.”
The trailer was debuted during the Survivor 49 finale After Show on December 17. The returning 49 players are Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic. Find out where they placed in the 49 finale here (their placements are also revealed in the gallery below).
Survivor first debuted on May 31, 2000. Survivor 50 will push the series into uncharted territory and impact the players like never before. For the first time ever, the game is “In the Hands of the Fans.”
Earlier this year, fans voted on key elements of the game, including “Idols or No Idols,” “Final Four Fire Making: Keep It or Lose It,” and “Live Finale and Reunion Show in L.A. — or Keep the Winner Reveal and Aftershow in the Jungles of Fiji.” The players won’t know what the fans voted for until they are competing on the island.
The game and the celebrations leading up to next spring’s premiere are designed to honor fans for their loyalty and passion throughout the 25 years of the hit series, and to entice new viewers as well.

started out pretty good. but 5 people from the most recent 2 seasons is ridiculous. why not more old school players like Rubert or Parvati
-
P
Maybe they said no when asked to play again
-
-
O
I think we need a survivor with all the players who had to leave because of illness or injury
-
C
Come on!!!! Cherie Fields again? Kamilla instead of Eva? Where is Joe Anglim?
-
G
I am actually glad not to see Eva.
-
C
I agree, it would be nice to see Joe play his own game without worrying about Eva so much this time. (loved them as a duo, but I am sure it wasn't how he wanted to play the game going in)

Where's Rob, Sandra, Rupert, Pavarti, and other big name favorites? I am so disappointed 😞
-
C
Too many "new" era players. Most are unremarkable.
-
G
Cirie has been on the show enough, don't need to see her or hear her. Not one of my favorite people. Glad no Pavarity or Rob either.
-
O
Where are the other players who didn't get a fair chance to play the game. Why is Cirie back she had her chances and she won Traitors and Kyle who won survivor why is he back. The newer players could have come back another season. We needed more of the older players and some who had to leave because of injury. I am so glad Ozzy is back, I hope he wins this time.

Kamilla and Kyle?????? Why?????? They are pure poison!
-
K
So what are they actually surviving?? It's obvious they have plenty to eat etc. Let it be more like Naked and Afraid.
-
G
Mike White!!!!!! 😱
-
G
Oh my gawd!!!! I'm screaming!!!! So excited. I wonder if it's gonna be the new era versus the old. This looks so good!
-
J
I would love to see a season of Survivor with all contestants that were voted out 1st. Like a redemption or do-over season.

Omg this is going to be good!!! And just have to say that season 48 was one of the best in a long time!
