‘Storage Wars’: Where Are Former Cast Members Today?
Storage Wars premiered on A&E in 2010 and has been airing regularly ever since. The show is currently in its 17th season, documenting professional buyers who purchase storage lockers from auctioneers in California.
Several of the show’s current participants have been around since the early days of Storage Wars. Dave Hester, an OG cast member, recently returned for Seasons 16 and 17 after a hiatus. Brandi Passante has also been around since the beginning and has appeared on every season.
Other current stars of the show are Dan Dotson, Laura Dotson, Ivy Calvin, Kenny Crossley, Mary Padian, Lisa Delarios, Dusty Riach, Lupe Riach, and Emily Pokoj.
But what about all of the cast members who have come and gone? We did some digging into what some of the former stars of Storage Wars are up to today. Scroll down for all the updates in the gallery below.
Storage Wars, Season 17, Saturdays, 9/8c, A&E
Rene and Casey Nezhoda
The Nezhodas were part of the show from Seasons 4 to 15. They still run their shop Bargain Hunters Thrift, which sells a variety of collectibles.
They launched their trading card breaking company, Bargain Hunter Breaks, in 2020 and are also avid poker players.
Barry Weiss
Barry Weiss suffered severe chest and leg injuries in a 2019 motorcycle accident. He has since recovered and even came back for two seasons of Storage Wars in 2023 and 2024, but has since retreated from the spotlight and lives a more quiet life.
He has two adult children and is a grandfather.
Jarrod Schulz
After 13 seasons on Storage Wars, Jarrod Schulz left the show in 2021. His exit came after his breakup from Brandi Passante, who is still a main cast member.
His exit came after he was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence battery in 2021. The arrest happened after an incident that involved Passante, according to TMZ. He denied the claims against him. A&E never commented on Jarrod’s exit from Storage Wars, but it’s speculated that the arrest is the reason he was let go.
Today, Jarrod is seemingly in a relationship with Rochel Beckman, an employee at his restaurant Rush Bar & Grill.
Darrell Sheets
Darrell Sheets sadly died in April 2026. He dealt with health issues after suffering a “mild heart attack” in 2019, which resulted in him needing surgery.
The reality star died by suicide, according to his autopsy. He was found dead in his home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, per officials.
After Darrell’s death, Rene Nezhoda said that he had been the victim of cyberbullying.
Brandon Sheets
Brandon Sheets, Darrell’s son, was a main buyer on Seasons 1 to 9. After Darrell’s death, Brandon announced his plans to reopen his father’s antiques store, Havasu Show Me Your Junk.
Brandon is married to his wife Melissa (they tied the knot in 2015) and they have two children. The family lives in Arizona.
Emily Wears
Emily Wears was only on Storage Wars for two seasons, but she made a lasting impression on viewers.
Per her Instagram bio, she is still an auctioneer, and “raising two wild girls with my husband in beautiful Idaho.” Most of her social media content is from life on the ranch.

Storage Wars needs to bring Mary Padian back. Brandi seems harder and Lisa is funky and Dusty is a little cocky. Mary was the one everyone wanted to get the lockers.

Where is Mary. She was my favorite. Brandi was one of my favorites but now she dresses and acts different not a fan any longer. BRING MARY BACK.

Please get rid of Dave permanently. I quit watching the show because of him.

Get rid of brandi and bring Jarrod back. He was entertaining. Dave actually brings a lot to the show even if he is an a hole. The show stinks with out him.
