Darrell Sheets‘ autopsy report has shed new light on the Storage Wars star’s death, including whether or not drugs played a part in his passing.
According to Us Weekly, which obtained a copy of the autopsy report, the toxicology analysis came back negative. Blood samples were taken and tested for benzos, cocaine, fentanyl, and other substances. No drugs were found in his system.
The report also noted tattoos on Sheets’ body, including a joker, a checkered flag, a female, and the number 58. Officials stated that the ink did not play a role in his death.
“The body is that of a well-developed, well-nourished adult male,” the report stated.
In conclusion, the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Sheets’ cause of death was suicide.
Sheets was found dead on Wednesday, April 22, at his residence in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. In a statement, the Lake Havasu City Police Department said officers responded to reports of a deceased individual around 2 a.m. local time and found “a male subject who suffered from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.”
After the news broke, fellow Storage Wars star René Nezhoda claimed that Darrell was the victim of cyberbullying and urged police to look into the accusations.
“You never know what demons somebody faces and what they go through and what you might push them through,” Nezhoda wrote on Instagram at the time. “And I also highly encourage law enforcement — Darrell has been posting a lot about the guy that has been cyberbullying and torturing him, and I really hope they look into that guy, and that’s just not a pass. Because it’s just not right.”
The Lake Havasu City Police Department previously stated that it “continues to actively investigate allegations of cyberbullying associated with this case.”

It's a shame, that's why I do not do social media. Darrel, I will miss you.

I don’t believe Darrel would do that to himself. As long as I have watched him on the show, he cares too much about his family to leave them that way! Police should investigate a lot more! RIP Darrel , you will be missed.

If a grown man actually offs himself because he was cyber bullied. What does that actually say about his mental state? I mean, he’s a grown man I don’t know. I was just raised in a different era. I guess he’ll be missed on the show. That’s for sure.
