Will ‘NCIS: LA’s Christmas Bring Good News for Kensi & Deeks? (PHOTOS)

It looks like there’s some cheer coming for the NCIS: Los Angeles team this holiday season.

Of course there’s a case in the December 13 episode, “If the Fates Allow” — and it’s one that reconnects Callen (Chris O’Donnell) with his former foster brother, who, along with his wife, has been framed for smuggling drugs across the U.S. border in her oxygen tanks. But fortunately, Hetty (Linda Hunt) gets the agent involved.

Then there’s the good news. Eric (Barrett Foa) returns, and as Daniela Ruah told TV Insider, he’s changed a bit — just look at that mustache in the photos! Also back is Kam, Sam’s (LL Cool J) daughter, now played by Kayla Smith.

And based on the photos below, it looks like there may be some joy coming for Kensi (Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), who’s struggling with losing his job at NCIS. (The LAPD detective’s liaison position was terminated permanently and he’s too old to now become an agent.) Might Hetty be delivering some good news from wherever she is? Ruah did say that she’s “doing Hetty stuff, still pulling strings at a distance,” even though she hadn’t been able to do anything in the last episode, according to Nell (Renée Felice Smith).
