The second season of House of David has been available to Wonder Project subscribers for months, and on Friday, March 27, all Prime Video subscribers can finally see the next leg of David’s (Michael Iskander) journey after slaying Goliath in the Season 1 finale.

House of David Season 2 follows the aftermath of that success, including many battles with the Philistines in the reign of King Saul (Ari Suliman), and David’s rise to warrior and worth as the anointed.

Still, there’s much more story yet to be told about the eventual first King of Israel, so is House of David returning for Season 3? Here’s what we know so far.

Has House of David been renewed for Season 3?

Not yet, but keep the faith as Wonder Project just announced a new companion series, The Old Stories: Moses, is coming to the streamer sometime this spring from executive producers Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn. Plus, The Chosen‘s last two seasons are still on the way — with Season 6 soon to premiere and Season 7 production having recently gotten underway — so the faith-based franchise is still very much thriving. And the creators of House of David certainly have a plan for Season 3…

Who will star in House of David Season 3?

Michael Iskander would undoubtedly return to his role as David in a third season of House of David. Plus, we could likely expect to see the return of Ali Suliman as King Saul, Indy Lewis as Mychal, Ethan Kai as Jonathan, Yali Topol Margalith as Mirab, Davood Ghadami as Eliab, Alex Uloom as Achish, Louis Ferreira as Jesse, and more.

What will happen in House of David Season 3?

Jon Gunn told TV Insider, “There’s always been a sense of the trilogy of David’s rise from shepherd to king. Season 1 was David the shepherd. Season 2 is David the warrior. Season 3 would be David the king, making his way to the throne.”
