Triumph’s Summer Election Special 2016 (streaming on Hulu): What an incredible presidential campaign season this has been—for Triumph to poop on! The infamous Insult Comic Dog (with his handler Robert Smigel) descends upon the Republican and Democratic conventions to wreak havoc and mock true believers on both sides of the electoral fence. Expect much brazen photo-bombing.

Summer Olympics (8/7c, NBC): Prime-time coverage continues to heat up with gymnastics and swimming. Three-time world champion Simone Biles will try to become the fourth consecutive U.S. female gymnast to win gold in the individual all-around competition. And Michael Phelps continues his astounding journey, with the 200m individual medley final and the 100m butterfly semifinals.

AXS TV Concerts Hosted By Mark Cuban (9/8c, AXS TV): From fake dogs to actual Monkees, as the legendary ’60s band performs its first-ever live TV performance, filmed at The Bomb Factory in Dallas. Future headliners in the series include Bret Michaels (Aug. 25), KC and The Sunshine Band (Sept. 1) and Bad Company (Sept. 8).

Inside Thursday TV: Teresa (Alice Braga) goes undercover on USA’s Queen of the South (10/9c) when a desperate Camila (Veronica Falcon) decides to rip off from Florida drug dealers. … The beloved Betty White appears on a repeat of Fox’s Bones (9/8c) as a forensic anthropologist with a yen for fantasy football. … Rare good news for Johnny (Denis Leary) on FX’s Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll (10/9c) as his charity anthem catches on, but Rehab (John Ales) is in a less happy state as rehearsals for “Feast” get underway.
