What’s Worth Watching: The Fertilizer

The world can never have too many Marc Marons. But it’s still a shock when Marc’s lesbian neighbors ask him to be their sperm donor—unless they want a five-year-old with anxiety issues. And it’s still laughably awkward when they announce that they’d like to conceive naturally—no fertility doctors or turkey basters allowed. The episode, however, belongs to a brief cameo by Whitney Cummings (playing herself), to whom Marc confesses the situation. Together, they’re a bit like a song-less Sonny and Cher, but with more anger and less hope.
