Netflix Releases ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp’ Trailer

Happy Birthday, United States! Just in time for July 4th, Netflix is going back in time to our not-so-glorious past (i.e. the Reagan administration) for a sneak peak of its eight-episode Wet Hot American Summer prequel, First Day of Camp. What was worse: Voodoo Economics or those nut hugging men shorts? You decide. That said, here are some of the great things you have to look forward to when the show starts streaming on July 31st: The return of nearly every original character from the film (including Bradley Cooper’s Ben and Paul Rudd’s Andy), Michael Showalter as Reagan, and a knife fight between Christopher Meloni’s special ops Vietnam vet, Gene, and an assassin played by Jon Hamm.
