Blackish “Sex, Lies and Vasectomies” (Wednesday, April 1, 9:30/8:30c, ABC)

Lies. We tell them to our parents. We tell them to our doctors. We definitely tell them to ourselves. But to our spouses? Never…ish. It turns out that a few years ago, Dre (Anthony Anderson) skipped out on his vasectomy. Yet he was happy to let his wife, Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross), think he had the procedure. Tonight, Bow learns about Dre’s fertility and instead of confronting him, she tries to get him to admit his deceit. (Side note: paternity expert Maury Povich guest stars in the episode as himself.) Isn’t it fun to watch Dre squirm and see Bow have the upper hand for once? Especially, when their precocious youngest daughter, Diane (breakout Marsai Martin), puts them both in their place. Silly adults, trickery is for kids.
