Justified, “Sounding” (Tuesday, Feb. 17, 10/9c, FX)

Executive Producer Graham Yost and his writing team have been on a tear for the first part of their final season. Last week, Loretta McCready (Kaitlyn Dever) and an even more unhinged Dickie Bennett (Jeremy Davies) made welcome returns. This week, Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) calls upon Constable Bob Sweeney (Patton Oswalt), now sporting a suspiciously Raylan-like goatee, to help track down Ava (Joelle Carter), who’s made an ill-advised run for freedom with the help of old friend Limehouse (Mykelti Willamson). “We don’t want it to be a parade of Justified‘s greatest hits,” Yost told us in December. “We want it to be organic.” It sure feels that way.
