Game of Thrones isn’t the only HBO show kicking off a new season in July. The network’s critically acclaimed comedy Insecure will return for an eight-episode second season on July 23. Series star and creator Issa Rae made the announcement in a video message Tuesday.

“Hey guys, it’s me, Issa Rae, and I am here to answer some of your burning questions about Season 2 of Insecure,” Rae started off the video. “The first question: Is Issa still single? No comment. Is Molly still single? No comment. Is Lawrence still fine? Yeah, duh. I’ll commit on that all day; he’s fine.” (As though we needed confirmation of Lawrence’s (Jay Ellis) continued hotness.)

Rae continued, “When is Season 2 of Insecure premiering? Well, I have an answer there.  And I don’t know if you’re ready. Are you ready? So I need you to mark your calendars for July 23, because it’s about to get hot this summer—hot. July 23, tell your friends, tell your family, tell your enemies to watch Insecure on HBO. We’re coming back happier, stronger, better, doper than ever…”

Rae stars as Issa Dee on the series, which documents the trials and tribulations of Dee and her best friend Molly (Yvonne Orji) in Los Angeles. The women weather troubled relationships (Lawrence is hot, but a cheater…so is Issa) and career obstacles, but ground themselves in the stability of their friendship.

HBO also announced Dwayne Johnson-led series, Ballers, will return for its third season on the same night as Insecure. Ballers, which looks at the lives of former and current football players, is back for ten episodes.

Season 3 will be our best yet. 🔥🔥 HBO’s highest rated 30min show is back! #AllThatGlitters #IsntGold #Ballers @BallersHBO JULY 23rd on HBO. 🔥🔥
