Did Heather Rae El Moussa Accidentally Reveal Who Wins ‘The Flip Off’ Season 2?

Filming for The Flip Off Season 2 has officially wrapped, and Heather Rae El Moussa may have dropped a major spoiler about the show’s ending.

Heather took to her Instagram Story on Thursday, October 22, to celebrate the end of filming. “Season 2 is a wrap on The Flip off,” she wrote. “Can’t wait for you all to see what we’ve been working on!”

The post featured a video of Heather and Tarek El Moussa arriving on set. One detail stood out: Tarek was seen carrying the pair’s Season 1 championship belt. Tarek smiled as he walked in with the belt slung over his shoulder, possibly teasing that he and Heather scored back-to-back The Flip Off wins.

However, the post could be a misdirect, as Tarek and Heather may relinquish their winner status and belt to Christina Haack in the show’s upcoming episodes. Fans will have to wait until The Flip Off returns to the small screen to find out.

The Flip Off, which premiered on HGTV last year, follows Tarek and Heather as they compete against Haack to earn the biggest return on investment for their respective home renovations. Haack began the first season competing alongside her then-husband, Josh Hall, but finished the competition solo after they split mid-season.

In March, Haack responded to theories that she would compete alongside her boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, on The Flip Off Season 2. “Umm, yeah. He will be involved a little bit,” she told Entertainment Tonight in March.

Haack shared a sweet Instagram photo of herself and Larocca on set during the last day of filming on Wednesday, October 21. “And… that’s a wrap. After a flip and a show and even during retrograde. I love you more @cml949,” she gushed.

Larocca, for his part, hinted in the post’s comments that he will be involved in Season 2 in some capacity. “What a wild season! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of all of it! Flipping a house definitely brought us closer,” he wrote. “And you look great in that dress. Love you.”

In the comments, one fan speculated, “Is that a ‘winning’ smile I see ??” Another said, “TV star life looks good on you guys:) @christinahaack @cml949.” Someone else shared, “YOU DID IT!!! And the while looking. So proud of you.”

Larocca was featured in Haack’s September 2025 Instagram video announcing that Season 2 filming had begun. “Filming the first day of season 2 of The Flip Off!! @clecacheechampagne required,” she captioned the clip. “Ready or not: here we come!”

In a July Instagram Story video, Heather explained why filming the season was taking so long. “Because we are flipping houses, sometimes we have to take a little, tiny hiatus and let the house catch up because, you know, it’s construction and things can take a little bit longer, especially in a competition,” she stated. “There’s things that happen. But, yeah. So, we’re filming Season 2 right now.”
