The Today cast has returned from their special episodes in Ireland, and Savannah Guthrie already can’t wait to go back.

All four hours of the NBC morning show aired live from the Emerald Isle on Friday, October 16. Savannah shared a special connection to the country, having previously revealed that her mother Nancy Guthrie‘s family is originally from Ireland.

“My mother was Irish,” she shared on the September 10 episode of Today. “Her grandmother, they were from Galway.”

As Today fans know, Savannah and her family have faced a difficult year so far. In February, Nancy was reported missing after allegedly being abducted from her Arizona home. Authorities have not named any suspects in the ongoing investigation.

Savannah and her family, for their part, have pleaded with the public to come forward with any information about the case and have offered a $1 million reward to anyone with information about Nancy’s whereabouts. (Reported ransom notes allege that Nancy died shortly after her kidnapping.)

As her family continues to hope for information about Nancy’s disappearance, Savannah is looking to make happy memories in her mom’s motherland. While reminiscing with the Today hosts about their Ireland episode memories on Monday, October 19, Savannah revealed, “I’m already planning my trip. I’m gonna go back in June. I wanna bring the kids. I think it’s just so beautiful.” (Savannah shares her daughter, Vale, and son, Charley, with her husband, Michael Feldman.)

Dylan Dreyer also shared her hopes to return to Ireland, stating, “I told my boys, I said, ‘Alright, I’m gonna take you to Ireland.’ And they’re like, ‘Tonight?’ And I was like, ‘Well, not yet.’” (Dreyer shares her three sons — Calvin, Oliver, and Rusty — with her ex-husband, Brian Fichera.)

Noting that the cast had “so many incredible moments in Ireland,” Jenna Bush Hager shared how Savannah’s trip to the Cliffs of Moher had a “rocky” start. In a segment aired during Friday’s episode, Savannah and the Today crew faced rough waters while sailing out to view the cliffs from the sea.

“They call it the Wild Atlantic, and we got to see firsthand why they say that. We went to the Cliffs of Moher,” Savannah stated. “We saw it from the ocean, and then from Martin Guerin’s farm, right there. It’s absolutely stunning. If you’ve been to Ireland but you haven’t done the Cliffs of Moher, then I don’t know if you’ve been to Ireland.”

Bush Hager retorted, “Well then, you’re just telling us that we haven’t been.” Savannah replied, “Now, you’ve all seen it, because I gave you a little preview.”
