‘Today’s Craig Melvin Shares Romantic Photos as He Celebrates Anniversary With Lindsay Czarniak

Craig Melvin is celebrating a major relationship anniversary away from home.

Melvin and his fellow Today hosts recently traveled to Ireland for the NBC morning show’s special episodes live from the Emerald Isle on Friday, October 16. October 16. While Melvin is abroad, his heart is stateside, as the trip coincided with his 15th wedding anniversary with his wife, Lindsay Czarniak.

“15 years married to my best friend,” Melvin wrote on Instagram alongside sweet snaps from their wedding and a more recent pic of the pair. “Lindsay, you’re the rock of our family. You’re the one who keeps us all grounded and the glue that holds it all together. Happy Anniversary.”

Fans congratulated the couple in the post’s comments, including Today‘s Sheinelle Jones, who wrote, “Aw happy anniversary!!!!’ Love you guys.” One user said, “Happy Anniversary to a wonderful couple.” Another added, “Happy Anniversary. Such a Blessed and Beautiful Ohana. Hope she went to Ireland with you!!!”

Someone else shared, “Happy Anniversary to a beautiful couple! Two great kids, too!” A different person posted, “Happy Anniversary! What an amazing couple!” Referring to Melvin’s People’s Sexiest Man Alive nomination, one fan quipped, “And to think she married the sexiest morning tv person ever.”

Melvin and Czarniak met working at a local Washington, D.C. news station in 2008 and got married three years later. The couple welcomed their son, Delano, in 2014, followed by their daughter, Sybil, in 2016.

Melvin is nominated in the “Which one of these hosts is hotter than your first cup of coffee?” category for People’s Sexiest Man Alive Readers’ Choice Poll 2026 alongside CBS Mornings‘ Vladimir Duthiers and Good Morning America‘s Michael Strahan and Gio Benitez.

Czarniak took to Instagram on Monday, October 12, to campaign for her husband to win the title. “A few things: he’s an amazing dad, tremendous husband, teammate, partner. [He’s] always so supportive and encouraging, I would say,” she gushed. “He makes a mean chili. He really does. Loves to whip up dinner on occasion, as we call it. He is a pro at candle-making. He is really good at debating. This is true, and I mean in the most positive of ways.”

Czarniak continued, “But beyond that, he is someone that really cares about where he’s from, leaves people feeling really good about themselves in his presence. And beyond all those things that make him sexy on the outside — like, let’s be honest, the dimple, guys, it’s the dimple — I think it’s his character and his makeup on the inside that make us think that really, you know, he’s the sexiest man alive.”

She concluded her message by encouraging fans to vote for Melvin, stating, “He definitely is hotter than my first cup of coffee.”
