‘Big Brother 28’: Angela Murray Says Season 28 Was Her ‘Redemption Year’ & How the Timecapsule ‘Catapulted’ Her Game
Q&A
Her run was iconic. Angela Murray became the second Jury member of Big Brother 28 after she was voted out in a three-to-two vote against Dee Valladares.
The icon first appeared on Season 26, where she was known for being outspoken, saying a Houseguest had “crazy eyes,” and crying over someone eating her charcuterie board. This time, she still had loud nomination ceremonies and moments of crying.
This season, Angela came in as one of three reality show alums to play the game, alongside 14 newbies. She joined Survivor‘s Dee and Rick Devens. Compared to her last season, she only won one competition — a Blockbuster that saved her from going home weeks earlier.
Being part of the Crossovers alliance with Dee, Devens, Drew Campbell, and Barrett Pfeiffer, Angela was shocked when all three icons were put on the block by Barrett. Here is what she had to say about her time in the house, including winning the Timecapsule, pairing with the icons, and more.

TV Insider: Did you have a different strategy coming into this season compared to Season 26?
Angela Murray: I think I had the same kind of strategy. I just didn’t get to implement it so much in Season 26 because I self-sabotaged a lot in trying to play, backtrack, and makeup a lot of the season, and I became the perpetual pawn in Season 26. So, going into Season 28, I wanted to get back to that core strategy that I initially wanted to play whenever I would get to Big Brother.
So, I think just being myself, playing with my heart, strategizing, aligning with the right people, and overall just having a lot of freaking fun, and I did that this time. I don’t have any pressing regrets at all because I think I got to do all of the things I wanted to for Season 26 and didn’t get to do. I accomplished them, so I cannot be more proud of the way that I played. Emotions, strategy, craziness, drama, all of it, just encompasses getting in there and playing with your heart, and that’s all I can do, and I’m proud of it.
Season 28 was a redemption year. I got to strategize and do all of the things I didn’t before.
How did it feel to win the Timecapsule vote, despite getting a punishment? How was the Egg Detective punishment?
Winning the Timecapsule vote was incredible. I won the first one! That spoke volumes to me. That said, “You’ve got support, girl. Have fun with this season.” It was so early on, and to know that America wanted you to have the power, it was what actually got me through that punishment. It catapulted me into the season.
The fact that the fans voted for me to have it, I felt like America’s Player. I felt amazing! I am so grateful.
If you didn’t have the other two icons to play with this season, who would you have aligned yourself with?
Oooh! Good question. I probably would have tried to play with them as long and as hard as I could with the Kamu (Kirk)/Haley (Thogmartin) combo. I think they are both individually very strong. Together, very, very strong. I would have wanted to play with them.
Would you have been loyal to the Crossovers to the end?
I can’t say that I would have. Would I have been loyal to the icons to the end? Yes. And I know that sounds ironic because Dee and I were both going back and forth on whether to get rid of Devens just a week ago, but I would have always been loyal to Dee.
There were a lot of explosive nomination ceremonies with you this season. Were they strategic or emotional?
All right. There were a lot of emotional nomination ceremonies this season. Did I plan for those? No. Did they happen? Yes. Were they emotional? Uh huh.
I play with my heart. If I feel it, then I show it. I couldn’t reserve it. I felt that the point was made about how I was feeling, and vice versa, whoever I was having an interaction with. It might not have helped my game, but I don’t care! I was living it and having fun, and I was playing Big Brother.

I’m sorry but I don’t know why Angela is getting all this hype, I mean why is she different from anyone else playing big brother??, enough is enough all she did this time around was sit back and let Dee and Devon’s take care of her and took there words and saying, so please enough is enough. Not to mention a lot of her things inside the house was all staged.
